I’m a Cloud Solution Engineer. I design and build applications and services on AWS — containerized workloads, event-driven services, and the data pipelines that tie them together. The work sits between architecture and implementation: I scope how a system should fit together, then build it. I’d rather own both halves than hand off a diagram and hope it survives contact with production.
Before AWS, I built solutions on Google Cloud at Allarity Therapeutics, where I worked on the delivery platform behind their Drug Response Prediction technology — the system that took cancer research and turned it into something usable in a clinical setting (read about my work at Allarity here). Before that, three years at Citrix Systems as a Systems Engineer, designing solutions for enterprise customers in healthcare, oil and gas, news, and government. Different industries, same problem each time: making good technology accessible, scalable, and affordable enough to actually run.
